Why is pro-American sentiment a ';rant'; but pro-Communist ideology not???

For the same reason any negative comments or action against any ';minority'; group by a white person is racism but negative comments from a ';minority'; group member against a white person is fair play since all white people have abused and continue to abuse minorities. The same thing applies in situations where a male boss says something a female employee doesn't like and it's sexual harassment but when a female boss makes sexual advances toward a male subordinate she's liberating and expressing her sexuality that has been repressed at the hands of men. Ditto that for the word ';Christmas'; and the public display of nativity scenes being offensive and against the law under separation of church and state but the loud prayer of Islamic clerics in the confined space of an airplane is freedom of religion. Why is pro-American sentiment a ';rant'; but pro-Communist ideology not???
To Outcrop: Thank you.

To the person who posted this most thought-provoking query: how are you even defining ';Communist'; in this case- anything left of center? Anything that doesn't coincide with your world view? Anything that irks you? Anything that the George W Bush's and Pat Robertsons of the world take issue with? Seriously, please elaborate as to the ';pro-Communist ideology'; you speak of, and how your observations thereof differ from Joseph McCarthy's. I'm all ears. Why is pro-American sentiment a ';rant'; but pro-Communist ideology not???
it is a rant
A rant is a rant is a rant. Rants are radical. Lots of them on here.
What?? are there Commies anymore? How charmingly old-timey. Do they have antique plates?
Who said it is not?

A rant is a rant.

Ideas should be supported by facts, not blind faith.
Are you quoting someone or are just making something up? where did you get this?
Fools will always be given their chance to speak
cause communism is linked to negativity
I concider myself to be politically aware and have never heard of this being the case let alone true. Depending on the perspective of the person listening both could be true or false. My position is that both are true and false.
I agree with those who say a rant is a rant regardless of the subject. That said, communism is a political ideology that can be debated in terms of pros and cons, what it is and isn't. America (I assume you're talking about the U.S.) is a very big Country whose citizens live by a mind-boggling and chaotic patchwork of ideologies and philosophies. IMHO saying you're pro-American is about as meaningful as saying you're pro solar system.
because there is nothing ';pro'; about communism...
A rant doesn't depend on your point of view. When you come on Yahoo, and instead of asking a legitimate question, make a speech about your views, that's a rant, capitalist, communist or otherwise.
its because pro communist sentiment is an old subject, and doesn't scare anyone anymore whereas with what the current American govt'.is doing in the middle east of course it has become a subject to some ranting by some countries that does not like there war mongering policies
Neither of those things are automatically rants. They are only rants if you are ranting. It's all in the delivery. I've heard some pretty nutty pro-American speeches that definitely qualified as rants and some pretty well-delivered and eloquent speeches supporting Communism that were definitely not rants. And vice versa.
The fallacy of this question is that being pro-US is monotonic. I suggest there is much variation associated with such feelings...
