Because we have a double standard when it comes to blacks and whites in the USA. Hate crime and hate speech legislation was created to protect minorities from the evil white man.
Also, our govt enforces discriminatory actions against whites by setting aside jobs for minorities, and through affirmative action. Martin Luther King must be turning in his grave. MLK wanted a color blind society, not a divided country that we have now due mainly to black race-baiting activists.
