Stop listening to hate-radio and you might not have such a skewed view of educators.

You could always go to Oral Roberts University. I hear they have a stunning curriculum down there, so long as you don't want to date someone of a different race.
Very few liberal profs or teachers would fail you for being a conservative, or for challenging their views. Liberals aren't as insecure as right-wingers.
Read, listen to talk radio, and read some more. Educate yourself so you can argue you points effectively. If you can counter all of their arguments effectively, they've got to respect you.





If you get a prof. who grades subjectively, you need to report him. You've got a right to have you're own opinion, as long as it is supported by fact and well argued.
I advise you to just play along. Some of these people are very nasty and they will give you a bad grade because you might disagree with them politically. If you want to call him out though, do it in an intelligent and civilized manor. I went to the University of South Carolina and one of my professors got fired for his liberal rants. How do most other people in your class feel?
if they failed you for your opinion they would not be teachers for long. i hope they try to be fair.
Get the grade. You're there for the piece of paper. Consider it an exercise in good judgment and self-control. You will need these character traits the rest of your life to succeed.





It also helps to develop a slightly warped sense of humor about the whole thing. That will also serve you well in life.





ADDED: I have a BS in psychology from a state school, and a minor in social work. And a JD. Get the paper. If you want to fight with someone, go to law school and get paid to do it. They won't change your mind. You won't change theirs. We're wired differently.

You know they are phony, you have nothing to gain by calling them out except a bigger struggle and a worse grade. Realize you are probably the minority in your political views and you will not change their attitudes.


As hard as it may be, bite your tongue, get your grade and move on. You will find there are much smarter people outside the walls of educational institutions.Your strength is in your vote and your education.

I had an PETA member for an English teacher (He even showed a PETA propaganda video in class) and got a 4.0 on a paper arguing FOR the production and consumption of animal meat by humans. Just work hard and explain your viewpoint clearly without delving into petty name-calling and whining and all should be well, like you would with a paper where you honestly sided with the teacher.





I've never had a teacher grade based on their own ideology. Most teachers may lean left, but they're not out to get you. (At least none I've ever met lol.)

Same situation here. My opinion, keep quiet until essays and tests are over. Then, at the end, challenge them when the grades are finalized. Then, they can't do anything!

Professors love to have their views challenged, and every one I know, loves a good academic argument. hopefully you can present a better one in class than you do on here.





Your grade is probably suffering from lack of participation anyway, considering your attitude.
I remember when I was in school we weren't allowed to question anything or the teacher would just point to the door and say ';if you don't like it, there's the door.';

I don't really care because I am not in college. If you don't like it you should either quit school or find a school that caters to your views.... OR you can argue with your professors. Good luck to your little problem.... I have to pay some bills now.
stand your ground but be prepared these folks will eat you alive if your not prepared for the confrontation. when they see a weakness, they will attack it. Be prepared for your peers to join in on the attack. If you see a weakness exploit it to your advantage. Its only com college.

Call them out and tape record him, never let a left wing commie/socialist keep you quiet. If your grade suffers sue the school and the prof., get media coverage. Never surrender!
Call 'em out. Tape it if you have too, but definately call them out. Don't let the lunatic fringe get away with the corruption and brainwashing of you or your fellow students. If there is retaliation from your instructor, take the taped converstation to the President of the CC, or if that gets you nowhere ....take it to the board of regents, or the governing body of the higher education system. Stand for what you believe in......good luck.
You should only get into trouble if you react with scorn or hostility. If you really don't agree with something they've said, debate them on it. A good professor should love a good intellectual argument. Just don't monopolize class time, and don't expect to convince anyone. But if you challenge their views appropriately, you can hone your debating skills, perhaps gain new perspective, and show both the professor and the rest of the class that not everyone agrees or takes the professor's views for granted.





Of course, if either you or the professor is incapable of debating these hot-button topics with respect and restraint -- if you'd find yourself getting rude and insubordinate, or if the professor is biased enough to treat you unfairly as a result of your views, then you're probably better off just sitting through it, getting your grade, and hoping for a more simpatico instructor in the future.
You are certain to flunk out of community college just like your idiot idol Rush Limpboy did.
